Happy Lucky's Loose Leaf Tea

For two years I served as the Part-time social media curator for Happy Lucky's Loose Leaf Tea, posting five images a week on Facebook and Instagram, as well as making the occasional TikTok. I am also fluent in Google My Business and Adobe Creative Suite as well. The voice I have created for Happy Lucky's social media presence is rich in color and plays with color temperature to show how the tea warms your soul and body, making sure to have an emphasis on the people at the company.  In the past year, Happy Lucky's Tea has expanded to grocery stores in the Northern Colorado area. I played a crucial part in the advertising plan and overall execution for the brand in this transitional period.
Happy Lucky's: Matcha Madness 2022

The biggest project that I have undertaken so far with Happy Lucky's is "Matcha Madness." A March Madness-style bracket where customers fill out a bracket for a chance to win 100 dollars of in-store credit.  Every day two teas would compete in a taste test competition, where one would move on to the next bracket round.  Eventually, on April 1st China Golden Monkey, the lowest possible seed, was crowned the champion. 
Daily Instagram stories updated customers about the results of the previous day's match, as well as a round recap video at the end of every bracket round.  All videos are available to view under the Directing and Producing tab, or on the Happy Lucky's YouTube channel.

I conceptualized and planned an event called "Water Night", where the entire cafe was designed to look like an underwater psychedelic world. All the staff were dressed as Dolphins or various other underwater creatures, as well as a line of signature drinks for the evening. The promotional aspect involved a series of cryptic images, accompanied by a time and a location, with the caption "Be there or be square."  The intention was that the mystery of the event would add to the intrigue, luring people into something exciting and different at one of their favorite local hot spots.
